Deniz K or, how unlawfull is self defense?

For all of those who are just here to look for something to hate, here is my story.

as few know, I was on a demonstration in my home town of Nuremberg lately. Beautifull , a bit loud, and disorganised.

I admit it, i was only there for the leering on scantly clad female activists, but whatever.

So, the demonstration is kept away from the inner city. Strange, because the theme of the demonstration was, „Nazistrukturen bekämpfen, Verfassungschutz abschaffen, Antifa in die Offensive!“, which roughly translates to "Battle national socialist structures, abolish the constituitional protection agency( roughly translated, the same as the secret service in britan), and Antifascists go in the offensive.

Not something that is disagreeable....

No, what is disagreeable, is that it was reccently revealed that the very same agency, who was originally created to protect us from the communist threat, has deccided to get creative, and fund their own threat. Yes, it's right, apparently the Verfassungs schu8tz, a secret service of the interior, has funded people, who used that money to build an organisation which is now classified as terrorist.

Clever, huh? Well, it gets better.

Also, despite the appearance, the very same secret service was at its begfinning so full of the very same people that the US could get who were against Commies:
Yes, right, it was full of nazis.

SWo, the situation as the demonstration saw it?
An organisation full of old nazis, who were founded to fight communist takeovers, funds nazis that fund an orgtanisation that kills in  terrorist acts several immigrants. The nazis were also the ones who had to find out who did the murders originally, and all they could come up with was " other immigrants". Sounds convincing, amirite?

Now, the city, on close advice of the police and that very same organisation, keeps a close eye on leftists.
I have to say, I am not really against it, because I hate commies too, but I mean, really close eye.
Like, dropping kinowledge of police documents in the hands of Nazis, using Nazi ressources to identify leftists, and worst of all, arresting leftists for all the wrong reasons. Like, writing with chalk on a sidewalk.

Oh, and they managed to not drop a hint on a case a few years back, where a known nazi allmost killed a leftist a few days before the first of may demonstrations.

So, understandably, the people were agitated.

Wait, it gets better.

Now, the police around here are not shy in any way form or shape to get as militant as they come.
So, when the leftists take a demonstration, the police shows up in full riot gear.

With that in mind, here is the rest of what happened.

the city disagreed to lket the demonstration through the inner city, citing a demonstration of animal rights activists as a cause.
Valid, because the leftists are known to be a mob of frenzied wolverines, but a few tree huggers?


So, as we were marching along on the demonstration, a few people want to try to bhreak out, and get to the inner city.

Bad Idea.

The cops had anticipatred it, and closed in on them, billy clubs raised like fly swatters.

Now, I am not against a good old ruffle with the police. If you know whatr comes, and they know that there is trouble, it is only valid and just that there is blood.

What disturbs me is that Denis Z was reccently arrested, because of that.
Now, why? Because, according to the article, he was wielding a stick, no broader then 2 cm, of wood, and hitting the police with it.

Now, let me repeat that.
AN OFFICER, who at the time was in FULL RIOT gear, WHICH INCLUDES A HELMET, anmd who was busy bashing in the skulls of teenagers, so severely that the demonstration had to stop and wait for an ambulance, claims that a teenager, wearing only a soft woolen hat and normal clothing, raised a stick and tried to kill him.
That is right, KILL him.

Now, I would like to include a question here.
What kind of punishment do the policemen get for bashing in the heads of children no older then 17?
because as I counted, there were at least 12 severely hurt children there, stumbling back out of that alley, holding heads full of blood.
Will they get drawn, quartered, and their families sold into slavery? Will their hands and genitals get chopped off?
Because, and maybe it is just me, if a cop is allowed to smack the unprotected heads of children with billyclubs, and a child has the guts to defend himself, nevermind that self defense is legal in our country, then shouldn't the punishment for the cops be bigger then the punishment for civillians? I mean, a stick on the head, what does it leave? A dent in the helmet? A smudge on the bullet proof visor?

And that is what you call attempted manslaughter?

Now, as the first of may returns, and Deniz is still in prison, awaiting trial, I cannot help but think.
Last year, the riots were severe.
This year, as word is spreading, and people are organising in solidarity, it will be a very interesting first of may.
I hope there will be no deaths.

But I know that there will be blood.

Really, if you are used to anime, and manga, it warms the heart to see such skill and actual phantasy.
I mean, coime on, that picture is simply sublime.

So, since I have too little money on my hands to make a dent, and I refuse to register to facebook / newgrounds, I want to point this out:

I do not own that picture, nor do I have any rights to it. However, since this picture is awesome, and the creator is full of mad artists skills, here is a list of things you can do:

- Go to his BLOG and write him that he is talented and awesome and one of the best french painters of this century.
- if you are female, consider having sex with him. I mean, come on, think about the commonly known fact that he is probably an awesome hungry artist, so he has enought phantasy, and the lack of food should make him slim and slender. Plus, if you want to talk science, look at his paintings.

LOOK AT THEM!

They are awesome. You wanna be awesome too? How about having a child with that man? You know that such genius with the brush is probably genetic?

- You are female, but don't want a child of that genius? Then how about showering him with affection, and sex? You know picasso? Did you know that he was so much in love that he cut of his ear, and sent it to a prostitute? Can you guess what he is commonly remembered for?
Can you guess what data777 will be remembered for?

- You are male, but have the mad moneys? Then go order a pain ting of his. Or, buy a design. You know, the stuff people with the mad monies do to show appreciation.

- you are male but tight on moneys? Then, by all means, go out of your way to make sure that such a genius of a painter is wellfed, gets to enough parties, and gets laied a lot.
Not only will you be the sponsor of an awesome artist, no, you will also ensure that an artist of his caliber gets to pass on his talent the genetic way. Plus, it is widely known that mad artists get loads of Girls, and that mad artists with loads of skills and loads of women usually pass some on to their male friends.

- You are a broke cavedwelling lazy Troll on the internet? Then by all means, do the same as I did. Pass his name on, and generate some publicity for the poor starving artist.

My personal opinion?

She is what the words " For great justice" were invented for. Her words are as sharp as her wit, her anger is allways justified, and though I sometimes disagree with her views, I think it is impossible to  not nodd from now and then, and feel her pain.

Fun fact: She will be schooled by V, and bring the british Empire to its knees.

When the revolution comes, she will be there, in the frontlines, viciously smithing her words, tweeting and slashing her way so generations of us will have it easier. She is what journalism should be.
maybe not a female Hunter S. Thompson, but damn close.

GEMA and Youtube: A call for help to Google.

So, today, the internet is full with GEMA vs. Youtube.

Let me explain.
At first, a definition, GEMA is something akin to a german RIAA, in the pure terms of evil.
It has a state issued monopoly on music representation. Ehat this means is simple. Everytime a song is played in germany, GEMA takes a cut. A tiny one, that is.

Now, there are several issues with that.
On the bonus side, you could say that it is a good modell. You have a group that collects revenue for the artists, songwriters, and so on, and passes it on to them.

But, the minus side is worse.

First of all, the monopoly part. 
GEMA has the right to ALL music played in germany, because, as is their argument, the artist in question could be a member of the GEMA.
Second of all, if you are a Band, playing on a small gig, just songs you wrote by yourself, the GEAM does knock on your door, and asks their share. Why? Because, as they go, you could one day be a big player in the music industry, and could then profit from the GEMA. Do you get a share because you pay into the gema? hell no, it mainly goes to the rich and already powerfull music groups.
Also, if you are in a kindergarden, and want to have a sing along with some notesheets? You pay GEMA, because it is a public performance.

Now, the Google / youtubers have offered a reasonable compromise:
GEMA should upload their track, and then, google would do its magic, and delete all videos where their track was played.
Does that count?
According to german law ( Thank you, germany), Google may not force GEMA to use an already present solution. What they now have to do is as follows:
- either they implement a team of members that combs all uploaded music, listening if the track is played in the video, and then delete it by hand. problematic, because per second, 60 hours of music are uploaded to youtube, which could mean loads of problems and work, although that would be a job that I would willingly take. (Hint: hire me for that, Google/youtube, I will do my best)
- or, it should renegotiate the contract it has with GEMA. Why is it problematic? Simple. because youtube is on the idea that it should pay like a radio station. Because, as they say, they provide a service, and people can listen to it.
GEMA on the other hand says, No, we want to be payed BY SONG, and BY repetition.


Now, what do I ask?
Simple.

HOW TO BREAK GEMA:
5 easy steps.

1. Google should just stop its youtube service entirely for ALL of germany, with a banner saying GEMA FORBADE US; WE ARE SORRY.
2. Google should totally block all search results for artists that support the GEMA.
3. GEMA will bitch and moan, but because they entered the lawsuit, Google can say that renegotiating the conbtract of deleting all songs would be too cost inten sive, so stopping alöl services for german IP's would be way easier.
4. ALL of the artists supporting GEMA will suffer. Unjust? maybe, but effective.
5. Due to the complaints about lost revenue, the public pressure, and so fort, GEMA will havce threee options:
- Disband, which I would personally view as a Win. Then, each label would have to personally renegotiate with the GEMA, resultrinbg in better reesults for the artists.
- Cave in, and accept a reasonable modell of payment. For reference, 64.000 GEMA-Artists per Year get around 11.500,- € per year before taxes, a reasonable ammount to get by. ( I make a decent living on 500 € per month, which is 6000 € per year. ) 15% off all the Money the GEMA collects goes to the GEMA staff ( 127 million €), and its head honcho has a yearly salary of 380.000 €.
Now, short comparison: the Boss of GEMA makes 33 times as much as an Average Artist. Is that fair?
- Remain stationary, not caving in. The artists themself will then get angry, and quite frankly, they could use a bit of movement. The internet users, and the public, and the other people will flex their muscles, and hopefully release a shitstorm of epic proportions.

So, google, and Youtube, I lower my head before you, and ask of your assistance. I will even promise to klick Adsense ads like a crazed running lizzard.
